The Amsterdam Dungeon

Located in the heart of Amsterdam, the Amsterdam Dungeon explores 500 years of the city's vibrant history in just 80 minutes. Tours are offered in English and Dutch, making it the perfect tourist attraction for families who love all things spooky and scary, with a touch of dark humor!

The Amsterdam Dungeon promises to make visitors laugh and scream. Visitors are taken through the vaults of the dungeon by live actors who share fascinating stories while state-of-the-art special effects make things extra creepy. Your tour begins with a descent into the dungeon on the medieval elevator where you'll hear the grinding cogs and chains and Hope that you'll make it down in one piece.

Once you reach the dungeon, you will be taken through specific themed shows. Each 80 minute tour takes visitors through every show that's featured at the dungeon. shows are always changing and being updated so that You can visit more than once and never see the same thing twice. Some of the current shows that are being featured are: Witches, Labyrinth, Meynes Cornelis, Spanish Inquisition, Black John and more. Just be sure to check the Amsterdam Dungeon website before your visit so you can discover-which shows will be playing during your visit. Although the Amsterdam Dungeon is good fun for the entire family, it is not recommended for children under the age of 10.
