The beach pier: One of the things you can’t miss when you’re in Scheveningen is the famous beach pier. The pier has various food trucks, shopping boutiques, a Ferris wheel and even a zip line for the real adrenaline junkies.
Sea Life: Families will enjoy discovering the marine world of animals like shrimp, starfish, crabs, stingrays, sharks and more. Walk through an underwater tunnel while sharks, turtles and other sea creatures swim around you.
Madurodam miniature theme park: If you don't have time to see all of Holland during your stay, visit the miniature theme park which lets you discover all of Holland in less than two hours! You'll learn all about Holland the Dutch history with the multimedia and interactive installations.
Outdoor sculpture garden: This enchanting sculpture garden has lots of bronze figures that come straight from Dutch fairy tales and sea stories. This garden is open 24/7 and it's a fun challenge to try to find all of the tiny hidden figures in the garden.
Beelden aan Zee Museum: This contemporary sculpture museum is hidden in sand dunes and is run by enthusiastic volunteers who also put on numerous cultural activities throughout the year. Its unique location makes it a fun thing to do when you're visiting the Netherlands.
Kunst museum: This museum is The Hague's municipal museum and boasts over one hundred paintings from The Hague School. Visitors will also be able to venture into the natural surroundings on guided excursions through The Hague to see where the inspiration for some of the beautiful artwork comes from.
Other things you won't want to miss at Scheveningen are: the Peach Palace, the Scheveningen Harbour, the Scheveningen Lighthouse, the Science and Culture Museum and more.
